Círculo de Diversidad

En la Universidad Kutztown en Pennsylvania
Charito Calvachi-Mateyko fue invitada a hacer un Círculo de Diversidad en la Universidad Kutztown en Pennsylvania el 29 de abril del 2016.

Ella narra: "Los estudiantes universitarios trabajaron con los 50 niños que vinieron de una escuela.
Los universitarios compartieron sus perspectivas sobre la diversidad mientras realizaban varias actividades divertidas con los niños. Juntos crearon una "capa" colorida de diversidad que los cubría a todos.
Los niños crearon luego un Círculo con sus pies y expresaron las cualidades positivas de sus compañeros. Los niños seguían el ejemplo de los universitarios.
Con esto la generación universitaria pasaba a las más jóvenes generaciones la dicha de la diversidad."

Charito Calvachi-Mateyko was invited by Kutztown University to do a Circle of Diversity on April 29, 2016.
She tells: "Kutztown university students worked with 50 children from an elementary school. The students shared their perspectives on diversity with the children while doing fun activities with the children. Together, they created a colorful "Cape" that looked as a big umbrella.
The children created afterwards a Circle with their feet and in it they express the qualities of the other classmates. They follow the example of the Kutztown students.
Their idea was to pass on to the new generation the joy of diversity."
